Enthusiastic Manner

We aim to ensure that as well as developing play and having lots of fun and games, we direct the children in an enthusiastic manner and by way of the governments Early Learning Goals and the Montessori Method, whilst the children still feel that they are just having fun.

Our main aim is to provide high quality childcare in a loving, relaxed, happy and secure atmosphere, within a carefully planned, calm, reassuring and emotionally secure environment. We aim to instill high standards of social skills and behaviour as we pay great importance to good manners and respect for others.

We aim to build each child's independence and confidence so that with our wide variety of resources, they will be highly stimulated to reach their full learning potential, at their own pace. We want children to feel able to ask questions and find out the answers with guidance or individual exploration.

Close Relationship

We aim to develop a close relationship with you, keeping you fully informed of your child's progress and what they have done whilst you have entrusted them into our care. You will always know and understand your child best, so please let us know of any new likes and dislikes, etc.

If you think your child would be happy with us the next step would be to visit. Although we would welcome you to pop in at any time you are passing (apart from lunchtime, 11.45-1.30pm), it would be best to make an appointment to ensure that the Owner or Manager are free to give you a full and unrushed tour and answer any questions you may have.

We first opened in 2003 and continue to welcome all children aged 0-5 years and their parents/guardians. We cater for all children's individual needs including any disabilities or special dietary requirements. We actively encourage you to join in every aspect of your child's life here and welcome you to spend time with us whenever possible. We always strive to build strong relationships with every parent/guardian and like to think that we are approachable, responsive and friendly.

All our Childcare Practitioners access bespoke internal training and courses run externally, to ensure they keep their knowledge up to date. This helps to retain a freshness and excitement in their approach to childcare. Our single storey premises was specifically designed by an architect to ensure that all the modern needs of a nursery were met. Our nursery, outside classrooms and playground are bright and spacious.

We also have ample parking. We are conveniently located just off White Rose Way close to the Lakeside Village and the Town centre. We are also handy for the M18 junction 3.
